The two of us met our first semester in medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada. We went on to do our clinical rotations in Brooklyn, NY and completed internal medicine residency together at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Now Hassan is a Pulmonary Critical Care/Fellow while Nabeela is working as an internal medicine attending in the city. We love the work we do and while it keeps us busy, we always make time to enjoy each other’s company and have fun in every aspect of our lives. Together we spend time reflecting on our practice as physicians, introducing and discussing various topics with each other and encouraging those who want to pursue a very rewarding career.
